M. Hastaedt was born in Mecklenburg in 1976.
In 2006 he moved to Switzerland and lives with his family near Bern.
He taught himself to paint.
Encounters and emotions inspire his works. Capturing the big and the small feelings, the depth of the spirit and the touch of the soul in colors. Colors awaken with such intensity that they burst into life and yet share a moment, a flap of wings, with the fragility of being.
